my induction hob stopped working, showing e2 which I found was overheating but a day later it its still on the four of five hobs. one comes on and flashes e6 and goes off again.

E6 is an indication that the safety track on the pcb that operates the appliance has burnt through
Note: If the safety PCB track is not activated in case of short circuit, the filter has to be replaced!
Check the PCB and let me know..
