My Bosch advantixx wash + dry has started stopping 17 mins

This answer was rated:

Hi my Bosch advantixx wash + dry has started stopping 17 mins in to the drying cycle. Any ideas how I can sort it
Can you post the model number of the washer please.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Where will I find that? It only has Advantixx Wash + Dry on the machine. There is WVD24460GB on the back of the manual
Thanks for that the WVD is the model number.
If you turn the dial to off and back on again does it clear the display?
Are you able to restart it again?
If so is the same thing happening or do you get any error codes coming up?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes it clears it completely and there aren't any error codes coming up. The machine will work absolutely fine for 17 mins on both the drying cycles then it's almost as if it thinks it has finished
Ok when you open the door when it stops is it hot and steamy in there?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No it isn't
Ok is there any heat at all from the dryer side?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I don't think there was - I stopped it a while ago now. Would it help if I put it on for the 15 min cycle?
Ok no worries. I think you may find its not heating here that's why its stopping as if it was heating you would have felt it as it would have been hot.
What you need to do is pull the washer out and remove the top.
Make sure its unplugged and then towards the front on the top you will see a small thermostat with a red button in the middle. This is the reset button. Press this in and if you hear a click then its just reset so then retry the dryer and see what happens from there.
Let me know what happens.
