I have an idesit ids 105 s with start/pause light and lights

hi i have an idesit ids 105 s with start/pause light and lights 1 and3 flashing

If you have them lights flashing then this is a pressure fault inside the dishwasher.
The first thing to check is the mesh filter inside the dishwasher. Remove this and turn it over and if its all slimed up give this good clean out. Then retry it and see how it goes.
If its still doing the same then you need to pull the dishwasher out and lie it on its back and remove the bottom plastic cover. From there locate the hose that goes from the wash motor to the bottom of the sump, Remove this hose and give it a good clean out and again see how it goes. Finger crossed that cures it.
If still the same then its possibley the wash motor at fault here as if the go weak it doesn't pump the water fully around the system and the pressure sensor picks this up and creates this error code. So if this is the case then the wash motor will need to be replaced here as they do like to fail on these so its not uncommon for this.
But check the above first if you can and see what you find.

will try this have just changed the element as thought this was the problem

No worries. A heater element causes lights 2 and 4 to flash. 1 and 3 is a pressure fault inside the dishwasher.
