Candy PVI 640 C error code E1 disconnected from power for 1 hour reconnected still have error code
E1 error code is a supply voltage fault.
If turning it off hasn't cured it then you need to remove the hob from the work top and turn it over and remove the cover were the mains cable goes.
Make sure the power is turned off and then check the mains connection for burning. If that looks ok then disconnect the wiring from the hob and leave it 20 mins as with the cable removed it will allow the componments in there to discharge themselves.
Then reconnect the hob and turn the power back on and see if that cures it.
If its still the same then im afraid the power board will be the issue here. As to be honest with you when ever an Induction hob fails and its not the power supply then its always the power board. As that's all that's in there. You have 4 magnetic plates and a power board. Now the magnetic plates wont cause this so it just leaves the power board which to be honest is cheaper to buy a new hob then get a new board for this as spares are very expensive.
But try the above first and see how it goes and let me know.
