Turned the oven on and it tripped the electric. The fan still

Turned the oven on and it tripped the electric. The fan still works but no heat. The top oven/grill works on the Hotpoint Ultra. Can it be fixed or do I need a new cooker?
Yes this can be fix here.
If it tripped the electrics out and now doesn't heat up then this is going to be a faulty fan element in there.
What you need to do if fixing this yourself is empty the oven and from there remove the back panel.
There you will see the heater element around the fan.
You need to replace this and that will get the oven working again from there.
If you don't want to go removing panels then you need to get an engineer in to fix this as it can be fixed and is roughly around the £80 mark all in.
