How to remove the glass from AEG Santo fridge shelves for cleaning?
Can you post the product number (pnc) of the fridge please. It will be on a sticker inside the fridge at the bottom behind the salad box and it will start with a 9.

The three main shelves are tightly bound with plastic trim but spillage has got between the glass and trim and must be cleaned out.
Ok is it the shelves you are looking to split to remove the glass from the frame?

We want to remove the glass from the trim to allow washing of spillage which has got between the two.
Ok im with you now.
From memory on these if its the fully frame shelve you want to remove then turn it upside down.
Look at the back either side and you should see a round gap with a X piece in there.
Push down on the X piece and pull the back frame out from that side.
Then do the same to the other side and then you can slid the back piece off.
Then with that off you can then push the rest forward and it will come off from there.
Now sometimes if you have had things spill on there it sticks so use something to gently hit the back section of the frame backwards to remove it from there.
Try that and see how it goes and let me know.

Daniel, Thank you.
Have now managed to do it, having got the confidence from your description that the frame would not break. The spillage is not visible from the topside, so we have learned a lot today!
Many thanks
