Hi, I have a Delonghi heater TRD4 0820T which is less that 4 months old and has been used once. It does not come on and none of the settings light up. I have just changed the fuse in the plug but to no avail. Any suggestions please?
Hello, I am Tech Michael. Please first make sure there is indeed power at the outlet you are wanting to use, by plugging something else in there. If thats all good, then you have a heater that come to you defective unfortunately;-(But you can exchange that one or have it replaced free of cost ;-) As it it still fully covered under the manufacturers warranty.A few of these were reported to have the same problem so there was likely a batch of bad components (electronic) parts that made there way into a few of these. They are aware of this now and all the bad ones have been fixed or removed for stock so the new replacement will be fine ;-)I wish I had better news for you on this I really do, but atleast you will have a new heater at no cost. You can contact Delonghi from the info in the user manual and on the warranty card that came with this unit.If you can't locate that now, here is the website you need to reach them on for this exchange: In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete. Please rate my service thus far.EXCELLENT (5 Stars) would be greatly appreciated. There is NO cost to rate Kindly;-)Also it is the only way I am credited for my time and expertise with you.Once you rate, I will be notified and will add your question to my priority list so you can reach me anytime until this problem is solved. Then you can reach me by simply replying to this message anytime.Thank you and have a nice day!
