Hi I have a beko dw686. All the lights are coming on but the cycle does not start. The door seems closed ok although there has never been a click sound with this dishwasher. I have tried holding down the reset button and it shows er9,er2 alternately. I have tried unplugging for ten minutes and then trying. Nothing can you help regards sue

Hi we only bought the house 4 months ago and I think it was bought by the previous owner 18 months before that. As far as I can see there have been no power outages
Thanks Sue, Is there any response for button presses on the panel? If so please let me know what works if anything?ThanksTech Michael

Hi thanks Sue, but what happens other than the lights, nothing? Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Nothing happens
Thanks Sue, one last question,do the button still function with the door open?
lights changing in response to presses.

Thanks Sue,I would suspect the door lock mechanism. But there is always the possibility the main control board is failed as well. Usually this symptom simply means that there is no "closed" signal from the lock so nothing will work in that case.I woudl replace the door lock on this one that should solve the issue;-)If that doesn't solve the problem, then you need a new main control board. The best place to get the parts would be : best to call them for this door lock. They also carry the main control board. both parts are easy to replace and I will help you all the way Sue.Espares:Sales0844 9777 888After sales0333 4007 888Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, Closed Saturday and Sunday. In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete. Please rate my service thus far.EXCELLENT (5 Stars) would be greatly appreciated. There is NO cost to rate Kindly;-)Also it is the only way I am credited for my time and expertise with you.Once you rate, I will be notified and will add your question to my priority list so you can reach me anytime until this problem is solved. Then you can reach me by simply replying to this message anytime.Thank you and have a great day Sue!Tech Michael
