I've fitted a rad for a friend and its not getting hot. its a one pipe system, I think the problem is part of the main run is 22mm the rest is 15mm therefore its not getting the correct flow. am I rite in thinking that or not?

Could be that.try opening the rad valves on the new rad fully and closing other rads off. If it gets hot then turn all the other rads,on the balnceing valve(not the on off valve) down a hater turn
