My Krups nespresso citiz coffee machine stopped working

Hi, my Krups nespresso citiz coffee machine stopped working today. All lights seem normal and when in use it starts to make the normal noise for a second then drops to a low hum. No water (or coffee) comes out. Any ideas or is it for the tip? It is about 2 years old.

This sounds like a clog due to high mineral water. This may be fixable this way but you may need a part still? We have to try this first to see if it will clear.But first tell em how often you descale this machine and what you use to do that with? Your method?ThanksTech Michael

I don't de scale we use bottled water in the machine.
Hi ok, sounds like you need to try this.Please make up a solution of 50 % white distilled vinegar to 50% water(bottled distilled).Heat it to about 140 deg not boiling!Then add it to the unit and let it sit for 2 hours. then try to run it though. Keep trying this a few times waiting 32 hours in between attempts. If that work great! it usually works on this model about 75 % of the time;-)If this doesn't work let me know and I will tell you the next step and where to but the part needed to fix this one.In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete.Please rate my service thus far.EXCELLENT (5 Stars) would be greatly appreciated. Hi Michael - great news, that worked - thank you. As a matter of interest how often (bearing in mind we use bottled water) should this descaling be performed to avoid what happened yesterday. The machine is used for about 5 cups of coffee each day.
