Hi Steve, welcome to Just answer .... the problem is either with the thermostat that is bad or the heating element itself that has gone and will need replacement...before replacing can you test them with a meter for continuity ________________________________________________________________________________________If you have further questions I will be pleased to assist you .. Hi Kevin, I have replaced the heating element as there was a straight short that tripped the mcb. since then I've fitted a new heating element which now stops the electrics tripping but there's no heat in the tumble dryer.

The condenser is clean ? as the dryer works and heating element is fine it seems the problem is with the main control that is bad and will need should also check the wiring harness from heater to control
