I have an e04 error code on my hoover optima washing machine. I checked the pump and found a hair clip. There are no signs of a leak anywhere and the drum is empty and turning freely. The error code is still coming on. What else can I try?

Thanks for your answer Kevin. I have blown down the tube which seems clear and the pressure switch is clicking once when I blow into it and once when I stop. I do not have a multimeter at home but could check it properly tomorrow when I bring one home from work. The e04 code is still coming up after a few seconds of plugging it back in.
