I own a Samsung MM - E460D Hifi. I bought an i-pod classic

Customer Question

I own a Samsung MM - E460D Hifi.
I bought an i-pod classic today which I believe to be compatible with the Hifi.
Could someone explain how I download CD's from the stereo to the i-pod?

Hi there.I am Daniel, and I will try and assist you with this. Please feel free to ask any questions as we go along, and rate me once we are done. From your description, it seems as though you are asking how to play a CD on the hifi, and record it to your iPod at the same time? If so, that is not possible. If you are trying to simply play music from your iPod through your hifi however, I can certainly help with that. You say you have tried looking for the instruction manual, I am guessing to no avail. Here is a link to the instruction manual for your hifi particular, take a look at page 34. I hope some or all of this helps, and please reply if you require any further assistance.

Thank you - you have answered my question.
Tis upsetting as I bought the i-pod thinking that I could down load music from my CD collection.
I will have to see if I can be refunded on the i-pod.
Again - thank you.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Not sure where you bought the iPod, or how much you paid for it, but may be worth having a look at selling it on eBay. The classics still sell for a few quid.If you need any further help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask.And if you could just take a moment to rate me, that would be hugely appreciated. Kind regards,Daniel.
