Can you tell me if the cable fits into a plug and can be strapped by the retainer without problems? Electrically it could be done as 230v 2900w is 12.6A, but I wouldn't recommend it Always follow the manufacturers recommendations.. Even if the plug can fit, if the manufacturer recommends hard wiring then use hard wiring.
