My Beko WMB91233LW will not start any wash programs, when I close the door and select a programe the was light comes on and is steady but then quickly begins to flash and the wash cycle won't start.
Hello Kelly, my name is***** to be certain, of the 5 lights, counting 1,2,3,4,5, from the top.. which light is flashing?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Hi George, the second light from the top is flashing (wash light)
Ok, thanks. Is the drain pump running?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Its been working fine, at the minute all that happens when I select a wash cycle is a click sound and then a flashing light
Is there any water in the appliance?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Ok, can you remove the kickpanel at the bottom of the machine and check that there is no obstructions in the filter housing and that the impeller of the pump can rotate
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I removed the kickboard and undone the filter, lots of water came out but there was nothing blocking it.
Can the impeller of the pump rotate?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
It can
so, leaving the filter off the pump for a second.. can you turn the appliance to the OFF position on the dial. Then turn the dial to the Spin/Drain position, and press Start.. Tell me what happens
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I put the cap back on the filter and pressed start and the wash has now started!
Ok.. Then a small hinderence in the draining, or the senceing of the draining, of the appliance caused your problem... Advice: Put the appliance on a high temperature wash with no detergent and nothing in the drum.
