We are on day one of our holiday in France and we have had a brand new Dometic 2600 air con unit fitted to the roof of our motor home. It was working fine for about half an hour but now it is no longer cooling the van. The air con kicks in for about a minute then fades out. Any ideas ?

This one may have an clog in the sealed system with the Freon,

This also could be a failed electronic control board or thermostat probe.

What you can try, is look at the cooling coils, you should see the temp probe there.

You can pull it away from the coils, when you do that please let me knwo if it seems to cool better?

If not you will need to have this one serviced at a recreational vehicle shop locally.

Or have it serviced when you return where you bough that one.
