Can you confirm you have checked the filter at the base of the washing machine, as in some instance debris from the wash can find itslef in the filter

I can confirm the filter did have debris in it and was cleaned the machine was put through another cycle but still no change hope this helps you thanks robert

If the filter has been cleaned and you found debris it suggest there may be some small stones or similar still int he machine, they should work themselves out, keep checking the filter after a few washes and see if what is in the filter is hard enough to make the noise you can hear.

If it continue to bother you the next step is to strip the washer down, and check what in the sump where the water sits.

Should you wish an engineer to come out to strip the unit down, please provide your postcode.
