I need to know which way the coloured wires go back on on

This answer was rated:

hello I need to know which way the coloured wires go back on on the push on/off button for a Beko dcu6130w tumble dryer?

What colour wires do you have?

Do you have

Red and yellow together

Orange and purple/yellow together?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There are four plugs for the wires to go on to, there is red and yellow taped together and brown and orange taped together.
I don't know which plugs they go to as I have already blown the fuse once! Many thanks

Can you post a picture of the wires you have please.

My mistake there is 4 plugs
1- Brown
2- Orange
3- Red and yellow
4- Purple with yellow stripe and orangeThanks

Thats great so it is the same as the service info i have. If you look at the switch you need to wire it up as follows.

Brown on one side and orange on the other.

The on the same side of the brown its the orange and purple/ yellow wire.

Then on the same side as the orange its the yellow and red

Does this make sense to you?

Ok does it matter left/right top/bottom

If you look at the switch there is a diverder down the center.

So basically you want the brown wire and the orange and purple/yellow on one side of the divered

And the orange and yello/ red wires on the other side of the diverder.

You can put the single wires towards the front of the switch and the doubles at the back.

Do that and before turning it on post a picture of the switch with the wires on and i will make sure its correct first.

I hope this is right

Yep thats correct.

Turn it on and that will be back to normal from there.
