I have a Zanussi jetsystem 1000 washer. The machine was on

I have a Zanussi jetsystem 1000 washer. The machine was on when there was a power cut and now it is dead. I tried replacing the fuse to no avail. Is there some kind of reset option or something else I can do to get it working?

Using a different appliance in the socket instead of the washing machine; have you checked that the socket has power?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There isn't a socket. The power cord goes into the wall directly so there is nothing to unplug.

Then have you checked the switch in the meter box?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I had to reset the main breaker as the whole house went dark. Then I reset all the individual breakers. Everything else in the house is working fine now.

Is there a switch on the wall for the washing machine... If so, is there a fuse at the switch?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yep that was the fuse I replaced.

Do you have a multimeter? and know how to use it?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No and no. All your questions are about the power so it seems like there's no reset option on the washer itself, is that right?

No, not for a power problem

I am trying to assist you in finding where the issue is so that you can sort it

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Okay, thanks. I will try another fuse. Thanks for trying.

It may not be the fuse that is broken

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Anything else to try other than replacing the fuse and resetting the breakers again?

I was going to get you to test the incoming power with a multimeter, but if you do not have one we can't do that.

If you can find a friend who does have one then we can proceed.
