Oven works OK but the keypad for the hot plates just peeps

oven works OK but the keypad for the hot plates just peeps and goes of. I assume it must be the electonic panel

Can you post the model number of the cooker please. Or better still could you post the product number (pnc). It will be on a sticker on the cavity of the oven when you open the door and it will start with a 9.

model D98000VF-M
product no###-##-####

Thanks for that.

What you need to do on this model is turn the power off.

Open the top oven door and from there look under the hob top at the front.

There you will see a few screws.

Remove them screws and lift the hob top upwards from the front.

From there look under the hob at the front and there you will see the 2 touch control boards. Check them as what happens a lot on these is the hob control board falls out from the support brackets and causes this kind of fault.

If it has fallen down then refit it like the other board which you will see and then retry the hob and see how it goes from there.

Check that out and see what you find and let me know.
