Customer Question

Hello - recently my washing machine has shown the following: upon filling with water at start, the water level is correctly reached to initiate a wash cycle. However when that level drops due to absorption in the washing; topping up with further water is not implemented and the cycle freeze.
This can be remediated by adding (via the soap tray) about a litre of water to return the level such that the cycle is resumed.
I guess a water level sensor fails to trip the appropriate signal.
Except for the above the machine is working perfectly well.
Can you please direct me to a servicing procedure (spare-parts/ diagrams) allowing me to return the machine to its original operating status?
Kind regards ***** ********@******.***

Hi , I am Tech Michael an expert in this field and I will be assisting you today. I am a Master Technician that's dedicated to giving you the best Answer possible.

If you are new to the site, this is briefly how it works:

1. We may need some back and forth to exchange information (if needed) and there is no extra cost for replying.

2. I will give you the best possible Answer for your problem without the ability of actually being present with you.

The better you describe the problem, the quicker I can help ;-)

3. Remember to leave a Positive Rating ,it doesn't cost anything additional to rate kindly;-)

I am only credited for my time and expertise if you rate kindly.

On this machine the problem could be either then main control board or the water level sensor.

I dont really suspect the main board in this case.

I would say just replace the water level sensor and it should be fine;-)

If you are handy and have the tools, you can do this with ease and I will assist you all the way.

Once you have the new sensor, you can replay to me, I will walk you through step by step to replacing this water level sensor. Its fairly easy to do and this part is pretty much stand alone so it should be easy enough to do.

Also the new one comes with instructions but I will direct you to a video showing exactly how this is done;-)

The best place to get that part is:

It is best to call to order this part, as they will likley ship it out to you the same day you call;-)

Also, there are so many different sensors that its best to let them pick and ship the correct one to you the first time.

Please call Espares: 0844 9777 888.

Here is a video that shows the basics of this repair. It is the same procedure for Whirlpool and most other brands as well.

In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete.

Please rate my service kindly.

Also it is the only way I am credited for my time and expertise with you.

Once you rate, I will be notified and will add your question to my priority list so you can reach me anytime until this problem is solved.

Then you can reach me by simply replying to this message anytime.
