Assistant: What's the make and model of your oven? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: BA28502SS its just over 10 years old
Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: worked perfectly sunday night

Customer: it seemed to come on as it was a little warm but then went off

If the fan in the oven is running but theres no heat in there then its more then likely the heater element at fault which is causing this.

What you need to do is empty the oven and remove the back panel inside the oven and from there you will see the heater element around the fan blade.

Check this and see if theres any visable signs of burning on there.

If so then you need to replace the heater from there and that should get the oven up and running again from there.
