I have a Hotpoint TVFS 73B tumble dryer. The 'clean filter'

Hi I have a Hotpoint TVFS 73B tumble dryer.
The 'clean filter' light won't go off-Ive cleaned it out thoroughly with a Hoover and even at the back where the hose goes- any ideas??


Is the dryer stopping mid cycle then with the clean filter light flashing?

Do you feel any heat from it?

It's not working at won't start because it thinks the filter is blocked which it's not- the light for 'clean filter' stays on when usually you remove filter and light goes out when it's been replaced and it works as normal .I've turned it off from mains and it's still doing the same.Could it be a sensor ??

I dont think it will be a sensor as if it was then the dryer will still start but it just wont heat.

When you try and start the dryer do you get 3 beeps from it?

when I press start all the lights flash and it beeps 3 times.

I think you have the child lock on here.

Press and hold the 2 buttons above the start button together at the same time for about 5 seconds and it should beep.

Then try it again and see how it goes from there. Fingers crossed this sorts it from there.
