Hi Ive just installed an indesit ids105 dishwasher
Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your dishwasher? And have you run a diagnostic test cycle?
Customer: Not sure how to run diagnostic
Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes
Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Its second hand, i have water at good pressure going in A while ago it had both wash and dry lights flashing

When you start the dishwasher going what actually happens?

Does it make any noises?

Are you getting any flashing lights from it? If so which lights are flashing?

It makes noise and then lights for wash and dry flash after 10 minutes or so

It's an f02 error

Any tips?

F02 is a filling error code.

I assume you have checked the fill hose at the back isnt kinked up.

But if thats fine then when you start it going does any water enter at all?

If yes then its possibley the filling chamber at fault as theres a flow sensor in there which picks up the flow of water and if fails causes the error code.

In this case the plastic filling tank on the left hand of the dishwasher will need to be replaced.

But if no water enters at all then its possibley the water inlet valve. For this you need to access the water inlet valve at the back at the bottom were the fill hose goes to.

You need a test meter to check this. Test the coil were the wires go and it should read about 3.6K ohms. If faulty then the water inlet valve will need to be replaced to cure this.

So check them out if you can and see what you find from there.
