HiMy zanussi zwh6160-p starts to spin but the spin only lasts for about 10 seconds and it’s not very fast. It seem to be constantly rebalancing the load But never goes into a fast spin. Can you helpCheers Dave

What is in side the washer at the time its doing this?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Half load of washing

Ok thats fine.

Has the washer drained all the water out ok?

Also lets see what the error code is.

While its still running press and hold the start button and the button to the left of it.

Keep them both held in and after a few seconds the start light will flash.

Count the number of red flashes and then the number of green and let me know.

HiAll water drained out of the drum.15 Red & 5 Green

Thanks for that.

This error code is an anti balance error code.

Try this and see what happens.

Stop it and let the door open.

Remove the clothes from in there and put it back in again.

Then add a bath towel in there and set it going to a spin only cycle and see how it goes from there.

Let me know what happens

Tried that, no difference.

Ok if thats no made any difference and its still not spinning then im afraid its looking like the control board is the issue here. As you say the motor tries to spin but then stops so the motor is fine.

Its the control board at fault here thinking theres an uneven load in there when there isnt.

Is this case im afraid the control board itself will need to be replaced to cure this and that will get the washer spinning again from there.
