Beko DE2542FW Slimline dishwasher. Does not pump out at end

This answer was rated:

Beko DE2542FW Slimline dishwasher.Does not pump out at end of cycle. Checked for kinked hose, grease build, filters all good, so immediately thought the small 240 volt impeller pump by the filters had packed up, so removed it and it tested to be working fine, so replaced it and did a test cycle on 2 and still no pump out so somewhere along the line the impeller pump is not receiving any power, so this must be a programme switch problem, ore what else could it be, no wires appear to be off.

Hi

If the pump isnt running but the pump is fine then its either a broken wire or the control board is the issue here.

What you can try first is remove the outer metal door panel.

There you will see the wiring running down the door.

You need to remove the covers and brackets at the bottom so you can release the wiring harness from the bottom.

Then you need to open the loom up there.

Inspect all the wires in there and give them a tug one at a time and see if any have broken.

As the wires can break in thhe loom were it bends round the door there.

So check the wires in there.

But if the wiring in there is fine then it can only be a control board here and the control unit will need to be replaced to cure this.

But check the wiring first as i would think for this fault its a broken wire in the bend there rather then the control board.

Let me know how it goes.
