I have a brand new miele hob that is coming up with error

hi there, i have a brand new miele hob that is coming up with error codes.
Assistant: Can you guesstimate how old your Miele is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: brand new just out of box. its km6879. simply put im turning it on to which it just has the 4 areas coming up ie alarm, hand waiving etc . it then states error codes
Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: no
Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: no, i can get error codes but essentially its going from one hob to other after placing induction pan on it and then allocating error with each one.

Hi,

Is the hob, potentially in demo mode, does dE show up?

Are the pans definitely induction type? - you can check by ensuring that a magnet sticks to the base.

Also, is the pan large enough to cover the cooking zone - try different size pans.

If none of that helps please confirm the error codes.

any thoughts, these are brand new miele appliances, im thinking lemon hob etc ?
see above the error codes, looks like its checking each hob for connectivity but no go,

Hi,

Is there any protective film left on the hob?

Try cleaning it with a damp cloth and drying off.

Try turning off at the mains power for at least 1 minute then back on and try again.

If none of that works, then it does sound like the hob is faulty.
