We think the drain is blocked as Dryer still working and

HelloWe think the drain is blocked as Dryer still working and getting hit but no water going in into tank or condensing filter ... but hubby can’t find where the drain pipe is.Can you help please?

Thanks for that.

This model doesnt have a drain pipe as it uses a gravtiy water collector.

So as the water bottle is at the bottom then when you push the water bottle in the valve at the back pushes into the valve in the water chamber and when you use it the water just flows into the bottle.

Now if the water isnt going in there then what you will find the valve in there will have fallen out. As the small seal wears and this causes the plunger and spring to fall out.

So remove the bottle and look under the dryer at the back and im sure you will see the plunger and spring on the floor. In this case the tank valve will need to be replaced.

The spring and valve are still in tact - we will put on another load and see if it works now.

Ok if they are ok then remove the tank valve as its only held on with 2 screws.

Then look at the back of the valve and push the plunger in and you will see a small hole.

Just check theres no fluff blocked in there as ive seen it before were fluff blocks the hole and this stops it from passing through it into the bottle.
