If the water dispenser is dripping like this then its usually the water inlet valve at the back thats the fault. As the valve has a plunger in and when you ask for water the plunger lifts up to allow the water to pass then drops to stop the water.

What can happen grit can get into the valve and causes the plunger to stick a bit and not fully seal and this is when you get the fault you have were the water trickles through.

When this happens its a case of replacing the water inlet valve at the back of the appliance and this should cure the fault from there for you.

You carnt really miss the valve as its the part that has the water supply hose going to it.
