Have Tv Model40D1333B WHERE PICTURE SUDDENLY WENT OFF, SOUND PERFECT .wHAT CAN i DO TO GET PICTURE BACK ?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: wENT OFF THREE WEEKS AGO BUT i HAVE BEEN AWAY UNTIL YESTERDAY AND TRIED SWITCHING ON BUT STILL NO PICTURE
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: iF POSSIBLE BUT i'M 90 YEARS OLD so !!!
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: tv SWITCHED ON AND SOUND ok

Hi there,

Have you tried to unplug all the cables and plug them back again ?

Have you tried to use a DVD player or another input in order to see if it works ?

If you have already tried above two things then lets see if we are able to reset it:

Press and hold the MENU and VOL Down (-) button on the TV.

While holding these two buttons, press the power button on the TV.

Now after 10 seconds, let go these two buttons.

Wait for a minute or two to see if any picture comes on.

If that won't help then unplug it again for around 5 minutes.

Now press and hold the POWER button on TV and simultaneously plug it back.

If the above steps won't solve the problem, please post back.
