The control panel is a sealed unit the outer casing isnt designed to be stripped away what are you trying to do?

Right so your talking about the control panel no the pain PCB.

I have just double checked the mechanism isnt designed to come away, as with most budget appliances these are seen as throw away components.

You could try and force it open then use some epoxy to glue it back, but really your looking at a new PCB.
