Then turn it back on and touch the key lock button for around 15 seconds.

OK try this:
Press and hold the ON/OFF button first for 10 seconds, if the LOCK still appears then press the LOCK button for 10 seconds
OK, unplug it and let it remain unplugged for 10 minutes
Then press and hold the start button and lock button together and simultaneously plug it back while holding these buttons.
Let go after few seconds and see if it works
