Could you confirm that you are still in this conversation

As if the temperture goes above -14 degrees in there the alarm will come of.

The most common cause is an ice build up on the freezer evaporator.

If you are looking at fixing this yourself then empty the freezer and remove the back panel.

Then you need to release the evaporator unit thats attached to the roof of the freezer and use a hairdryer to melt the ice in there.

Now this isnt the easyist way as its very tight in there and the pipe work is quite thin.

The easyist way is a total defrost.

Empty the freezer and unplug it for 24 hours and leave the freezer door open.

After 24 hours turn it back on and give it about 4-5 hours and the freezer should be back to normal again from there.

Try that and see how it goes as fingers crossed this will cure it.

And yes this is still on the online chat as im unable to do the phone request im afraid.

Is the red light the alarm?

Yes, its the warning alarm to say the temperture isnt correct in the freezer.

One more question.
The freezer is quite full
I am afraid to loose all the food - can you advise on that?

You can place a towel in there as some water may leak inside but the rest will go in the drip tray at the back.

You need a good 24 hour defrost to fully clear it as an over night doesnt usually work if theres a lot of ice plus the door needs to be left open.

Im afraid you will loose the food so if you dont want to do it yet then try and find somewere to put your food in the next day or so then do the defrost.
