JA: What happened just before your Siemens washer displayed this message?
Customer: it made loud noise when starting cycle then seems fine but towards end of cycle it faults i think when its trying to empty the water out. like a loud wirring noise
JA: What have you tried so far with your Siemens washer?
Customer: we have run it on hot cycle with nothing in washer
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: it has faulted before with the same code e-18 and sometimes the filter has been blocked. this time nothing in filter and cant see any blockages so dont know what to do as water still in drum. it looks to me like there is a blockage between the drum and outlet pipe but inside the machine as i have checked the outlet pipe that runs from the machine to drain

Welcome to Justanswer … my name is ***** ***** I will help you today!

I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your appliance; I know that can be frustrating.

Hopefully, we can get this resolved quickly.

Please ignore the automated phone call request.

If you ask a follow‑up question and I do not respond immediately, it is because I am temporarily unavailable. I promise to respond as soon as I return.

E18 indicates draining fault.

You will have to unplug it, remove the drain pump filter and pull it out.

Then tip it forward so excess water drains off completely.

After this is done, remove the side panel and try to gain access to pump, clean the black sump hose from pump to drum.

After everything is clean, plug it back and select a spin/rinse only cycle.

Let me know how it goes.

If you're satisfied with my assistance, your 5-star Rating (from top of this page) at this time is appreciated as that's the only way I get paid for my assistance.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask! You won’t be charged any additional fees. Thank You!
