Ok can you post the model number. It should on on a sticker on the back of the freezer.

 

Also has the freezer started to defrost as the red light usually comes on when its not at the correct temperture?

So as its defrosted can you hear the compressor running.

If you look on the right there will be a cover and the compressor is behind there.

Can you hear this running?

Ok if the compressor isnt running then it will be the thermostat as the thermostat is what brings the compressor on.

 

Now the bad news is the thermostat is listed as obsolete now for this so you are unable to get the parts for this.

So its looking like you will need to get a new chest freezer for this as the parts are no longer availble for them, Sorry.

Can you post a picture of the red light you mean as i dont see anything on this model that shows it having a red light.

 

I just see the thermostat knob, the fast freez orange light and the green power light.

That is the fast freeze switch and looking at the picture it is broken internally thats why its come out.

 

Im afraid you wont get that back in as its broken inside thats why its like this.

 

Bad news again is the switch is obsolete so you cannot get it. Im afraid every part for this is listed as obsolete.

Nope, Im afraid not. The brass bar thats on the picture next to the light should be inside the switch. But its broken internally thats why its come out im afraid.
