Whirlpool 77cm induction hob. Model 4B Single zone Service No:855781201004 . ACM822/NE

Purchase March 2017

Thanks for that.

This error code flashes if any of the function key is stuck.

Unplug it and wait for around 40 minutes.

While its unplugged, press each and every button(key) [one at a time].

Then after 40 minutes plug it back and let me know how it goes.

Hi Kevin, So i remembered some more information.
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
First thing to happen was the switch was been tripped by the hob. This happened a few times
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Then i got an error of F01
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Then the error moved to F07
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I done what you asked me to do last night and the F07 error cleared but it is now back to error F01
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
i need to find out what error F01 is ?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Many Thanks

I am afraid, F01 is Electronic control board failure.

The cost of replacement will be around £220 including repair charges.

You may contact Whirlpool at 0344(###) ###-####to book repair.

2 of the 4 rings work. Does that make sense ?

OK, this is another new information :)

Left ones or right ones ?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
As i look at it the 2 on the left work and the 2 of the right are showing the F01 fault

OK, with these hobs there are rings and control board(s).

Rings never fail(almost never)

The problem here is right side control board is faulty and will need replacement.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Ok so there is a control board for each side. So what spare part should i order ?

Please CLICK HERE to order the part.

However, as I said earlier it might be good option to call Whirlpool and check with them if they can provide fixed price repair.
