My Dyson vacumn serial number RA5-UK-HEA1709A started to stop and start. It has now ceased to work at all. What could be wrong
JA: How old is your Dyson vacuum?
Customer: Sorry I can't remember but it must be outside the 2 year guarantee
JA: How long has this been going on with your Dyson vacuum? What have you tried so far?
Customer: This has now happened a couple of times but has not stopped altogether before. I have emptied the bin and cleaned the filters

Customer: The motor case and battery were quite warm

Usually with pulsing it means the filter is stopped up or there’s a blockage now.

When you clean the filter make sure you are super thorough

It could very well be
In rare cases the motor or control components could be faulty , but 99% of the time this is due to a blockage
