I have a tumble dryer - When I switch it on there is nothing

Hi I have a tumble dryer - When I switch it on there is nothing showing on the display. It has power because the light comes on when I open the door.
JA: What happened just before the light on your dryer came on?
Customer: i Opened the door. The light is the internal light
JA: How long has this been going on with your dryer? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yesterday evening. Not much to try - I have proved the electrics are connected and tried to program and start

OK try this and let me know if it helps.

Unplug the appliance and while its unplugged clean the condenser, filter etc.

Once that is clean plug ti back after around 15 minutes.

If still it wont light up press and hold the two buttons together (as shown in the image) for around 10 seconds.

No nothing showing - not even backlighting for the switches. The light inside the machine is still lit.

OK, the Control Module will need replacement.
