OK, Thanks for that.

Unplug the appliance and remove the top off the machine.

Then access the Control board, remove the connectors(one at a time) and reconnect them.

Then try to free the stuck button.

Reconnect everything and plug it back.

If the issue is still not resolved you will have to replace the control board (User Interface).

Check this IMAGE (part#587A) is the User Interface Board.
