My neff induction hob, tripped during use twice, and now won’t go on?
JA: Is your Neff hob gas or electric? How old is it?
Customer: Electric - hence tripping, it’s 6 years old
JA: How long has this been going on with your Neff hob? What have you tried so far?
Customer: today only, we have switched electric back on (trip switch) turned off and on the isolation switch, then pressed the buttons and nothing
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: nope

It’s been working normally until today

No flashing lights, everything fine until it tripped, and now won’t work. All other items in kitchen working

Unplug it for around 15 minutes.

Then press and hold the b and CLOCK buttons together.

Whilst holding these plug it back and turn it on, let go off these buttons after around 10 seconds.

Let me know if this will reset the control.

It’s hardwired?
Customer: replied 14 days ago.
I cannot unplug it...

Turn it off for 5-10 minutes from isolation switch.

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
Doing that now thanks

You are welcome.

Let me know how it goes.

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
Shall I press the buttons and then switch the isolation switch on?

Yes

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
Okay done that, now what?

Check if it turns on and if it works ?

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
Still nothing

OK, I am afraid the Power board is faulty and will need replacement.

The board is available for £241 + repair charges.

Looking at the age of appliance it is better to buy new one then to spend £300 on repairs.

You may leave it turned off overnight and see if it works.

If it won't the power board will need replacement.
