My washing machine is showing fault E18.
JA: What happened just before your washer displayed this message?
Customer: It was on the 15 minute wash but hadn't been spun properly. So i put on a drain/spin programme. Still soaking. So I tried a wash again -that is when it started to shoE18
JA: How long has this been going on with your washer? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just yesterday. I opened the bottom bit, pulled out the hose thing. Just lots of water cme out.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: The manual says about the drain hose but I really have no idea where that is or where the tap is or anything!

The door will not open

OK, E18 in your Bosch appliance indicates there is blockage in drain.

Try this:

Unplug it and remove the bottom front flap.

As you have already cleaned the filter you will see a pull tab next to the filter.

Pull it to open the door.

After the door is open, reconnect everything and plug it back.

Then select a rinse/spin only cycle and let me know if you still get same error code.

Have done a rinse/spin. Showed no error code but the item was still wet. am doing another cycle of rinse/spin. So far no error code. 3 minutes in.

Excellent, after the cycle is finish let me know if you are able to open the door and how everything works.
