I think this is not good and I shall have to get a local man in next Mon.

Thanks for that.

Please understand this is not a live chat session instead its a forum hence, it takes time.

You have to turn the select to 0 position and then press and hold the START button for around 15 seconds to reset the control.

Let me know how it goes.

Sunday, I did as you suggested and it has made no difference.

OK try this:

You will have to unplug the appliance and pull it out.

Then tip it backwards by around 45 degrees so excess water drains off completely.

After this is done, check the drain hose where it connects to house drain and make sure it is not clogged.

Then clean the mesh filter from inside and make sure it is not blocked.

Reconnect everything and plug it back.

Now select any program and let me know how it goes.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

If you are satisfied with my assistance, your 5 STAR Rating (from top of this page) at this time is appreciated. Thank You!

I cannot do what you suggest as the dishwasher is under the counter, where is the filter anyway?

Kevin had no way of knowing that I am a 76 year old woman who has very little idea what he suggests. I thank him for his help and would certainly award him 4 points

Thank you.

Hopefully you will get this resolved.
