Hi on muy Bosch drier the filter needs emptying about every second day. tHIS is the box filter at the base of the machine it is a condenser drier. Can i replce the filter or might the problem be elsewhre?

Customer: yes exxcel 7
JA: How long has this been going on with your Bosch dryer? What have you tried so far?
Customer: we just keep rinsing it down. It's been goign on for some time - maybe a year

OK the appliance is almost 11 years from the information that you have provided.

The flashing light indicates condenser pump is clogged or faulty.

Check this IMAGE and try this:

Unplug the dryer and pull it out.

Then remove the condenser and open the lid (part#509 in the image).

Clean it the space as much as you can.

Then remove the rear panel located at the bottom right of the appliance.

You will see condenser pump (part#512), remove the pump and give it a good clean.

Make sure it is not clogged and hoses attached are also clean.

Then reconnect everything and plug it back, it should work.
