My microwave of 10 years now goes through the time set buzzing but does not heat up contents
JA: What's the brand and model of your microwave?
Customer: BOSCH HMT35M653B built in
JA: How long has this been going on with your Bosch microwave? What have you tried so far?
Customer: This morning failed then after switch on and off at power worked then failed and no go on a few tries
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I am bit handy so could replace but not if a simple part can be fitted.It is clean and unmarked

This indicates an issue with the Magnetron that is faulty and will need replacement.

When you turn on the Microwave it starts and then after few seconds magnetron kicks in however, if control detects magnetron has not started to heat it will turn itself off or even trip the circuit.

When magnetron is faulty the Invert board is replaced as well.

The parts are available for £280 + repair charges.

Looking at the age of this appliance and cost of repair, it is better to buy new one then to spend this amount on repairs.
