Which de-scaler and cleaner would you recommend for my Bosch

This answer was rated:

Good afternoon Which de-scaler and cleaner would you recommend for my Bosch washing
JA: Do you know the model of your Bosch appliance? How old is it?
Customer: I inherited with the house when we bought it 3 years ago, so not sure of age. It has Maxx on front.
JA: How long has this been going on with your Bosch appliance? What have you tried so far?
Customer: When we moved in I used a German (I think) product which had been ordered for me by the last service man visiting our old Bosch machine in our previous house. And cannot remember the name. I’ve noticed that there is a small residue of conditioner in theat section after a wash. Otherwise machine is working well.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I just want to see if giving it a good clean will clear whatever is stopping the draining. I’ve given the drawer and inside the drawer casing a good clean.

Hi Kevin. E-Nr WF02467GB/17 FD(###) ###-#### The residue is in the conditioner dispenser Cathy

Thanks for that Cathy, by looking at the FD number it is 14 years old appliance.

If you can unplug it and remove the top off the appliance.

Then check this VIDEO and clean the detergent dispenser and all hoses attached to it.

After the cleaning is done, reconnect everything and plug it back.

Then use 2 cups of vinegar (1 in drawer and 1 in drum) or you may CLICK HERE to buy the recommended descaler.

Select an empty wash cycle on its hottest setting.

Let it complete and then wait for around 1 hour before opening the door.

Unplug it again and then clean the drain pump filter located at the bottom front of appliance and clean the drum and door seal.

Let this complete then, leave it unplugged few hours this time with door open.

The problem should now be resolved.

Let me know how it goes.
