Good morning,

Welcome to JustAnswer.com.

My name is ***** ***** I will assist you today!

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your appliance.

I understand how frustrating that must be.

This indicates temperature issue and/or an air flow problem due to heavy ice build-up inside the rear wall of the appliance.

Please try this:

Leave it unplugged and empty with door open for around 24-36 hours.

Then plug it back (expect some water on the floor) and wait for another 8 hours so it gets back to optimum temperature.

The problem should be resolved.

However, if the issue appears again then the problem is with defrost operation.

You will have to test/replace the temperature sensor and/or defrost heater element to resolve the issue.

Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 13 days ago.

Thank you for the model number.

Why do you think PCB is causing this ?

Temperature issue is caused due to faulty thermostat and/or defrost heater element.

Customer: replied 13 days ago.
From the PCB I can check all components easily otherwise I will have to cut wires. Some sensors don't have connectors inside the fridge. Also where will I find the thermostat for this fridge. Thanks
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 13 days ago.

Sorry was away for few minutes.

Please CLICK HERE to check the parts diagram.

To access the thermostat and control you will have to remove the rear panel.

You may test heater and thermostat for continuity with multi-meter.

Customer: replied 13 days ago.
That was really helpful
Would you have description list of these parts please
Customer: replied 13 days ago.
How to test the fan?Thanks
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 13 days ago.

You will have to test the fan motor with multi meter.

I am afraid I do not have parts description.

However, parts near the fan and on top of evaporator are thermostat and heater.

Customer: replied 13 days ago.
I think 66 is the PCB, right?
If the fan is ok, how many ohms should it be?
It's two wired but does not move when I connect 12v.Thanks
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 13 days ago.

Yes and for good fan motor it should read between 10 to 30 ohms.

Customer: replied 13 days ago.

Customer: replied 13 days ago.
With a multimeter I'm measuring a voltage on a PCB but I don't know if it is AC or DC, how to do it?
Customer: replied 13 days ago.
Thanks
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 13 days ago.

Please test the thermostat and heater for continuity before you check the PCB.

To test the PCB you will have to check if there is power between the plug and control.

Customer: replied 13 days ago.
This is not for the fridge.
I have another PCB. I know the AC 240v is coming in.
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 12 days ago.

What other PCB ? Is it for a TV or for another appliance ?

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
For a washing machine
