JA: What's the brand and model of your appliance? How old is it?
Customer: Good question!
JA: How long has this been going on? What have you tried so far?
Customer: KX-TGA856E we’ve had it over 5 years I’ve turned it all off completely and unplugged it for 30 mins. It won’t even show the number calling only incoming call
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?

Good morningIn order to determine whether it’s a phone fault or a Virgin problem, you need to take your phone to a neighbour or friend who has a functioning Caller Id service. If the phone works there then the ball is back into Virgin’s court.
