This answer was rated:

Our washer dryer will not drain, we've checked the hose and it will drain into a bucket if we keep the hose really low down but not through the pipes when its connected. We've also cleaned the pump filter
JA: What's the brand and model of your washer-dryer? How old is it?
Customer: We bought it in June and its a beko washer dryer model number *****************400
JA: How long has this been going on with your Beko washer-dryer? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We have cleaned the pump filter and drained it 3 times. We have disconnected the hose and checked for blockages and kinks and there's none so we are manually draining it into a bucket since it won't drain normally. There doesn't seem to be any pressure to pump the water through the hose
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No other issues

Hi, I'm Daniel welcome to JustAnswer.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your washer. Lets see if i can help you on this.

If its not draining but does when you lower the hose into a bucket then theres no blockages in the hoses so thast all clear.

Have you checked the pump impeller isnt jammed up?

Remove the filter again and look inside the chamber and there at the back you will see the pump impeller.

Check to see if theres anything stuck in there jamming the impeller up.

As the impeller should ping round in stages.

Check the pump impeller and see what you find from there.

Ok I will check that just now

No worries.

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
I have just checked and there was only a very small amount of hair in there

Ok belive it or not that can stop the impeller from turning as its its clumped up it can stop the impeller.

Once its removed retry the washer on a spin and see if the pump kicks in.

Ok, how long before the pump should kick in?

Its usually pretty quick. If its not running then do you hear a slight humming noise from the filter area?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
It seems to be pumping out now

Ok im sure that will be fine now from there for you.

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Are there any other steps to take or can it be reconnected when the cycle is finished?

Sorry any other steps to take for what?

Is it still not draining?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
No it is draining but is there any other places to check before reconnecting it to the pipes
Customer: replied 9 days ago.
It has just finished and has drained all water

Ok if its draining now then it will be fine as if it was still blocked it wont drain the water out.

So i think you will be safe to put the washer back as im sure it will be fine now.
