Hi, I'm Daniel welcome to JustAnswer.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your cooker. Lets see if i can help you on this.

Is it just the screw that holds the element in the roof thats come out?

If so then its just a normal self tapper screw.

But you usually find the liner in the roof were the screw screws into is worn so the screw isnt staying in.

Does it look like the roof liner has worn bigger were the screw should go?

Regards

What you need to do when this is happens is you need to move the metal support bar on the grill which the screw holds to the roof.

Get something like a pair of pliers and were the bar is attached to the grill element just knock it back an inch.

Then you can make new holes in the roof and just use normal self tapping screws and that does the job,

I do this all the time and it works just fine.
