Hi my Beko WMB61631S is not starting and it’s showing E18 please can you help.
JA: Do you know the model of your Beko appliance? How old is it?
Customer: Yes model no given it was bought in 2012
JA: How long has this been going on with your Beko appliance? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It stopped working Saturday I’ve tried
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: resetting but only goes as far as E18

E18 indicates unbalanced and/or overload is detected.

As it is not working at all then the issue may be with belt that has snapped or worn out.

However, if the belt is fine then the issue is with the carbon brushes in the motor that are worn out and/or the motor that is faulty and will need replacement.

You may unplug it and pull it out.

Then remove the top off the appliance, check if the belt is intaact.

If the belt is fine then you will have to replace the carbon brushes.
